Hello everyone! I have just recently purchase two holland lops from a breeder and i at the moment only have one carrier and as the title states, would it be smart to put both holland lops in the same carrier? the hollands lops are only 8 weeks old. and from the same litter.

Since they are so young and this will be their first time separated from the other rabbits, it would actually be advised to have them share a carrier. It will be scary for them so they can snuggle together for comfort.
thanks for the input! probably was overthinking but i thought they would fight one another in the same carrier lol

Have they been accurately gendered? The gender fairy can visit and surprise folks if you continue to have the youngsters share a carrier or housing space.

There are several rabbit-savvy DVMs in your area if you take tthe youngens for exams or future sp/euters.

@MunchLax, these youngsters were glad to have each others company on the trip back from the place obtained. As weeks progressed the two males turned out to be male and female. Gendered at our vet when our girl had an exam and got treated for coccidiosis. - I noticed the dominance mounting starting so the baby bond did not last.

Enjoy the snuggle moments you currently have with the juveys. Your two lops will provide much companionship to you in the next decade or longer!

Archived snuggle memory from 2015, siblings approx. 3 months??

@MunchLax - you are wise to be thinking ahead prior to hormone onset. You may want to get your duo gendered asap to confirm. Super smart to ask these questions and ponder whether one carrier or two will eventually be needed.

i will be sure to get them gendered properly but the breeder is a reputable breeder in my area, but i guess it does not hurt to double check.
