We have had a group of wild rabbits living in the corner of our barn behind some shelves and hay for the past year. This spring we have seen babies and have noticed about four that look to have been born in the spring and one that seems much younger this month. It’s is the size of a big hamster. They all looked healthy this weekend and then today I found three of them dead. We have no poison anywhere bc we have goats , chickens that free range and a cat so we are super careful. The only thing that was different this week is I moved the chickens food into the barn and it is layered pellet feed with sunflower seeds. Could this have been toxic to the little guys ? I loved seeing them every morning. I’m also worried because we saw a news alert about Tularemia being a problem in Colorado right now . Should we be concerned about that? Thanks for any advice . K

well if there are reports of it being a problem where you live, then yes, I personally would be concerned. Concerned about your animals, I read that cats are very susceptible, and about people as well. Caution is always a good thing. I am, in the neighboring Kansas, already concerned after your post :(
