hello
We adopted two gorgeous bunnies last summer. A male and female, mini Rex.
We think the female was pregnant but not sure. This morning, we found Midnight (female) lifeless in the hutch. It is absolutely devastating, especially for my 12 y daughter who found her when she brought them food.
I just went to see the male, Moonlight and is not quite as lively as usual. Could this be a trauma for him? My apologies if this is an ignorant question... I hope with good cuddles he will bounce back quickly.
So now I am worried he might feel very lonely as he always had company. How soon can I/ shall I find a new friend for him? Part of me is worried of rushing if he is too sad but on the other side I am concerned he might be missing the friendship.
Thanks for your help
