It is Ryan's brother's 20th birthday today. Their mother left town this morning for two weeks...

Guess what's happening tonight at my house?

Yep...a massive party with LOUD music and probably about 40 obnoxious and loud drunk people.

Should I leave Marlin in his cage in my bedroom where it is still kind of loud and the annoying bumpin' music is still extremely loud?

Or should I bring Marlin to my friend Matt's house to stay in his carrier for the night, in peace and quite?

Which would stress him out more? Being home with the loud noise in his cage...or being at an unfamiliar place away from me (he is extremely bonded to me) in the peace and quiet?

There is barely any people here yet and no one is drunk yet. Marlin is fine right now, but I worry when everyone starts getting drunk and loud.

Arg....his brother is a jerk.

I think keep him with you. Mine have experienced loud music and dont seem to get too spooked but up to you, you know ur bun best. Enjoy the party:dude:

I have had mine used to it as they are in the living room, and it is near. I always watch their reactions. They are fine with it.

Your's, being new to it, I would either put him somewhere more quiet, or snuggle with him. Something to make him feel way more comfortable.;)

If he can altleast be with you, that's better than taking him somwhere else.

Edit: AMY-MY 3000TH POST WAS TO YOU! YES!

THANKS AGAIN, HON!

Well, I kept Marlin here. I put him in his carrier and put him in Ryan's mom's room, which is in the back of the house. You can barely hear any noise in there.

Marlin is used to some-what loud music....Ryan plays his guitar in our bedroom all the time, but Marlin is not used to noisy, yelling people and "techno-type bumpin' shrooooow ya haaandssss in thaaa urrrrr" music :p.

HAHAHA.

Thanks for the responces though :hug2:.

Well, it was a rediculious party. I really don't drink (nor do I like the whole huge party scene), so I had fun sitting in my bedroom or hanging out outside away from all the funny drunk people and crappy music, haha :p.

Sometimes watching a party can be much more fun than joining in - especially if someone does something spectacularly embarrassing because you'll be the one to remember what went on :)

I'm glad you kept Marlin at the house - he would have been better off with you than in a strange place on his own.
