So this morning i was preparing Yankee's greens or the week.I rinse them all in the sink , chop them up a little then divide them up into quart size baggies. This week she gets mint, dill , dandelion greens and a few gapes or baby carrots on the side.

So what does everyone else serve ? How do you keep your greens stored and fresh?

I don't wash them until I give them to them..it makes the head stay fresh longer.

I really have a staple, I don't experiment much. Romaine, spinach, parlsey, cilantro.

They don't really like carrots.

But I will give a cucumber as a treat as well.

mine get cilantro, parsely, italian parsely, romaine lettuce, and carrott in the morning. At night they get green beans, dandelion, parsely, italian parsely, cilantro, and apple. Washed before serving to preserve it longer.

I also don't wash my greens until I give it to them. From certain stores the veggies are really wet so I throw a few paper towels in the bag to soak up some of the moisture. Otherwise they go bad really fast.

My buns get cilantro, endive, and red leaf. They love dandilion and parsley too but I don't give them often because of my rabbits calcium issues. I also give carrots as treats about once a month.
