Tips On How To Move A Bunny To A New Home?

Hi all!

So I'm moving soon to a new apartment. What steps should I take to make sure my bunny gets used to this new area? I don't want to freak her out and stress her out too much.

Try to keep her at your current place as long as possible. Try to get as much of your stuff moved to the new apt and set in place before bringing her there.

The least stressful for her is to have everything already set in place in the new apt. (or at the minimum, have everything in place in whatever room she will be staying in) before she is brought to the new place.

Once you've moved her over to the new place, keep her confined in her cage for the first week or two. This allows her to adjust most quickly. She can safely get accustomed to all the new sights, new odors, new sounds of the place before venturing outside of her cage.
