Hi,
So my bun (Ollie, 4 years old) was suffering from EC in early march, he's been on medication ever since and now he's a lot better. He's lost some weight so we've been syringe feeding him two or three times a day to get his weight up. However, his eating habits have changed, He refuses to eat his pellets (since EC started), and he doesn't drink water anymore (after he became a little better). We tried changing his water bottle and his water bowl but he just keeps peeing in the water bowl and on his pellets. We've tried to get different brands of pellets, filtered water, tap water, bottled water, and even some water they sell here in Japan for small pets but he still doesn't seem to be interested. And if we try to give him normal water through a syringe, he would place his chin on top of it and would throw a fit. Only when it's mixed with apple juice he would drink it. He's eating his hay and we're giving him lots of vegetables to help him get hydrated. I'm just concerned about how we could get him to drink water and eat his pellets normally without adding anything sweet. Any tips would be appreciated. Sorry for the bad English.
