my rabbit doesnt really like to chew on whatever i get him to make his teeth not long (but anything else thats mine or in my room he'll chew) so i tried timothy cubes and they were the best because he would eat them and i'd say that they are hard enough to control his teeth

can i make timothy cubes part of my rabbits diet?
or can he become fat off of them? i wouldnt give it to him every day maybe like one cube every three days

I'm pretty sure they're just pressed-together short hay. So not quite as good as hay. As long as he's eating some regular hay every day, I think it's ok to give him 1-2 a day. But he should be eating mostly regular hay because the long strands are supposed to be better.

They're safe to offer, but yes the long strands of hay should be better for wearing down his teeth. If you're noticing that his teeth seem to be too long, he may have a malocclusion (where his teeth aren't meeting eachother properly) which would require veterinary attention.

I have never fed them because they are expensive, but they are not had for them. I agree with what the others have to say about them. It is better than no hay at all. Someone brought up a good point, he might need to see a vet if his teeth are really long.

If you buy them for horses, they are MUCH cheaper, but you have to buy 50 pounds at a time.
