Thymoma cancer

Hi all,

I've just found this thread as I started lo0king online following the diagnosis of my rabbit today. He's 8. Vet thinks that it's not worth operating. She has given me pills normally given to cats to handle the pressure, and she told me to go back in 3 months. How long did Poppy and the others live following the diagnosis? I'm crushed

is your vet certain it's cancer? Have antibiotics been tried in case it's an abscess?

Our girl lived 7-8 months after her thymoma diagnosis.

Regina had a wonderful life in our family room - prior to the thymoma affecting her QOL toward the end. Based on her disinterest in eating, her fur loss, and overall slowdown, we knew when the final act of love would require a PTS . I forget the oral analgesic that our DVM recommended for pain; tramadol? Regina was approx. 8-9 y.o. when diagnosed; captured as a stray.
