we all do little things for our bunnies, like for howie i made a song to the tune of "i want candy"it goes

I know a bun who's tough but sweet

a little bun with fuzzy feet

So cute and cuddly he's such a treat

he's the bun that can't be beat.

he loves that song, his ears go right up when he hears it,hehe

so what are the little things you do for your bun?

Well I give my buneary lots of love and protection and a clean cage each morning a fresh food clean bedding and litter box, and for that I get his love and affection

with a kiss.

We just drove 1200 miles to Florida so Hershey could come along. We had to pack his food, toys, litter box, xpen, etc. etc. almost as much as what we took for ourselves. We also snuck him into a hotel room when the lobby doors had a big sign that said "NO PETS ALLOWED!" (We had to sneak him back out too! lol!)

Well I usually on summer days I give my bunnies ice water. :pI put ice cubes in their water in the morning, than again at like 1 or 2. And than I check on them again at 7 or 8, and make sure they have semi-cold water and feed, etc..

Also every morning before I feed or anything, I go around and give each of my bunnies a kiss. And Buttercup and Winston return a kiss, but Rayne and Noel don't really want to return one. :)Two is better than none! Hehe.

Oh this could be a long list. But I'll give it a go.

  • I get up every morning to give them some breakfast
  • I worry myself sick if someone hasn't pood enough.
  • We haven't been on a vacation (or gone even overnight) since we got Clover. We've only been away for a couple of days when we just had Bo. I couldn't stand leaving him.
  • I take my last $5 to get their hay if they are out.
  • I live with shirts that have multiple holes in them from Bo's agressive "fluffing" of me.
  • Most of our blankets have holes in them from all three having a playtime in/under/on them.
  • I will sit still even if I need to potty, my leg is asleep, my arm is asleep, etc., if I have a snuggly, comfy bunny laying on me.
  • I continue to pet/give ear rubs eventhough my arm is dead from doing it for an hour..... if it makes someone happy!
  • I get up in the night to check them sometimes...... like last night. It seemed too quiet..... Clover usually makes a lot of noise playing at night.

trust me a bearded dragon can be loveable too,

buneary comes to me for attention he woke me at 3 am and look at me I open the his cage door too see what he wanted , he bunny kissed all over my face, bunny kisses tickle.:D

if it is a choice between getting us groceries or getting buns food & hay. the buns always win.

i have officially given up half of my house to their bunny condo.

my boyfriend gets mad because i bake them treats but never him any treats :p

they are always my first priority for lovin and feedin in the morning and after work and before bed :)

and i sing to them as well, i don't have a cool song like that top one, but they tend to enjoy 1970's r & b lol

Let's see. My list is probably a lot longer than this, but here are a few items:

- Make sure that Toby's foot stool is next to the bed so he can play up there when I'm not home.
- Make sure the Craisin bag is always within my reach.
- Continue head scratchies for Toby even when my arm is aching for petting him so long.
- Get down on the floor and apologize to him if I offended him (my arm died = no head pets!).
- Go out to the grocery store in crappy, slippery weather to get lettuce when we run out.
- Reposition myself while sleeping if Toby hops up on the bed for head pets (reposition my arms so I can let him cuddle near me and I can pet him without my arm hurting).
- Bake the buns treats even though Will never gets any special treats
- Move extra slow and be quiet when moving around near Emma so I don't scare her.
- Pick all the "choice" greens out of my dinner salad so the bunnies will get "the good stuff".
That's all that I can think of for now! :biggrin2:

They all have us well trained. I make sure my crew has breakfast and dinner before I do. They even get fed when I'm sick. I'm the lone human in the house so no choice. I will spend my last penny to make sure they have what they need even if means giving up something I need for myself. My rabbits even go to the vet more than I go to any doctor. Dedicated I am.

He bit him while Will and I were laying next to each other and watching a movie. We were laying on our sides, and Will was laying behind me. Toby hopped up and was chinning my hand and looked up at Will. Will, being the "man" that he is, "chinned" my shoulder and made some wise-crack about "she's mine!". Toby lunged over me and bit Will square in the forehead. I almost died laughing. No blood, no broken skin, but a shattered ego! ;)

Will proves that he loves me (and the bunnies) by not making them into Hasenpfeffer when that kind of stuff happens!
