My lovely Mum In Law is giving us £2000 towards a holiday that we wouldnt normally go on - my immediate thought was MALDIVES .. as it's somewhere I never ever thought i would go in my life.

Has anyone been? How do you choose which island to go to???

Oh WOW, I'm so jealous, that is AWEESOOME. I've always wanted to go to the maldives. I would just do a bunch of google searches for maldive vacation tips, places to go, best places to stay there etc.

I know it's only sand, sea and sun .. and fish .. but it's my idea of a desert island .. and oh my, how I envied Robinson Crusoe ! lol

Oops .. my poor cousin, who is out there at the moment, is stuck inside ill after having been bitten 16 times by mosquitos, She;s only just got over swine flu too ..poor thing. She's just waiting for the doctor.

Actually .. just had an update ... it's more than 60 times she's been bitten .. and she has to stay in bed

Don't go to the island she's on... doesn't sound like fun Poor gal.
