Taz is eating so much! Why?! Whenever i feed her, she eats it all, and then at night, she wants more! She's usually fed in the morning, so I gave her a little more awhile ago, and now she's hungry AGAIN. And I know she is, because she's banging her empty bowl around and she gets all excited when I reach in to pet her, because she knows when my hand is reaching for the bowl. Do i keep feeding her? She's not overweight at all, so what do I do? I don't want to make her overweight! Taz is turning into a little pig!!

Maybe she is trying to get ready for winter? Get a little bigger so she is warmer?
She is an inside rabbit correct?
If she was outside, I would say keep feeding her. But if she is inside I would say feed her a little more, but not constantly.

She's an indoor rabbit. I think I;m giving her enough food, and i don't want to feed her for the 3rd time today in case she gets sick!

I agree that she know it's colder outside and there for wants to eat more. I say if you've fed her twice already today then that's enough. Just make sure she has plenty of hay.

How much are you feeding her? She's still a baby rabbit so she should get a lot of food. Is there a reason you are limiting her pellets? Normally baby rabbits get as much hay and pellets as they want to eat, because they are still growing. You do this until they are 6 mo. old. You would only need to limit pellets if your bunny is getting fat or if she is only eating her pellets and not eating enough hay. Also, what kind of hay are you feeding her?

Okay, I'll give her more pellets. I wasn't exactly limiting them yet, I just didn't know if it was okay that she is eating like 3 times a day. If i make her portions slightly smaller, I can feed her multiple times. (And of course, she has lots of hay)

Yep, I always have kept my baby rabbits' dishes completely full. They need the extra food for growing and all that extra energy they have. When they're young, there's not to much fear of them getting overweight.
