I went to feed Taylor tonight in the living room and found he had passed away. I have no idea if it was the heat (it was probably close to 90 in the living room even with the fans going and the a/c in the rabbitry which is right off that room) or if he had health issues all along that finally caught up with him.
When Taylor was born...there were two babies that I kept saying, "Are they peanuts...or are they runts?" Every day I'd go to check the nestbox and expect to find that they had passed away. Of course...they hadn't.
However, they were always smaller than their littermates (even now - Peanut, his sister is smaller). But they appeared fairly healthy...I figured they were ok.
So....I got complacent. Taylor wasn't really going to be "mine" if I could find a good home for him (since I'm a breeder). I didn't take many photos....something I regret now.
I loved him....and I admit it - I sort of wanted him for myself since he was so cute.
Here are the few photos I have..
Binky free at the bridge my special guy...and know that I love you. I am not sure why it was time for you to go or why you had to go....but I am so glad for the time I had with you.
Oh - and for those who want to know the reason behind his name....here's a link to the song..

It is the first song I ever heard Kristen Chenoweth sing - and it never fails to make me smile...especially when you watch her face as she sings and the expressions she makes.
Taylor - almost made me smile too - and his color was just so beautiful...well...anyway.
RIP Taylor......and binky free.
