Taking pregnant rabbit to vet??

Hi, I have a "pregnant" doe. I'm pretty sure she's pregnant as she's showing all the signs and I can feel like jelly balls in her belly. The last time she was around a male was 34 days ago and there are still no babies. What should I do??

Good luck. Not of much help but I have an overdue bun too. She has been nesting for almost a week. Previous litter was overdue too but they were fine. At the time we had renovations going on and same now. As soon as they stopped, she had her litter. Holding thumbs all is okay

Nope. I'm starting to think she's not pregnant. I was pretty sure tho but I can't feel anything. I'm still keeping the nest box in for a few more days. Luckily I have another doe that's due in a few days and i can see them kicking and I can feel them to. Any luck with your bun to?

None yet. Booked for a trip to the vet tomorrow. I can see her tummy jumping all around the place but will rather be on the safe side. I'm too excited to be patient any longer

Same but I can't see her belly moving. She's acting normal and doesn't seem to be in any pain so I'm not to worried. I know that my other doe is definitely pregnant as she's had babies before and is showing the exact signs. It's so exiting!

So mommy gave birth this morning to 7 babies. 3 of which have their organs on the outside (One has passed) and one heavily deformed baby with curled legs and 3 healthy looking babies. She decided to give birth out in the rain on the ground, no nest and no hair to keep them them warm. Have moved them into a warmer area so long.

So mommy gave birth this morning to 7 babies. 3 of which have their organs on the outside (One has passed) and one heavily deformed baby with curled legs and 3 healthy looking babies. She decided to give birth out in the rain on the ground, no nest and no hair to keep them them warm. Have moved them into a warmer area so long.

Awhh that's so sad. At least she has 3 healthy babies. My doe still hasn't gave birth so I don't think she's pregnant but my other one built a nest last night and I can feel the babies so much. Hopefully it would be soon. Good luck with your babies!

Holding thumbs for some babies for you! Let me know how it goes. I have 9 healthy buns and then the 4 surviving kits at the moment. The 4 are doing well so far, although the one has all the organs outside. But it seems to be doing great considering everything. Hoping you have a big healthy litter

It'll happen when at the right time. Maybe get her a nice hutch or something. I don't let my babies roam free at all. Scared I squish them or something. They have their own sectioned off part on the lawn and a 8x4ft hutch with artificial lawn they stay in when not out

So obviously not a rabbit who should be bred again. Deformity like that should not ne encouraged. The kits need to sold to pet only homes.

Shame I could never go through that again. She must be devastated. I will get her spayed as soon as these babies are old enough to be weaned. Then just keep the survivors until old enough to be fixed too, then rehome.

If this was an intentional breeding I would use a different buck next time. To have that many kits with problems would have me concerned...the three that look healthy, might not be.
