Hello,

I am looking for a good online store to buy supplies for my flemish giant. I am looking for toys, tunnels, blankets, puzzles, and most importantly food bowls. My rabbit is free to roam and I put out a food and water bowl for him. I have tried many different kinds of food bowls and here is what I have found. If the bowls are too light, he flips them over. If they are too big, he sits in them. I bought 2 made of stainless steel and that fit into a rubber container and he would pull the bowls out of the rubber container and even if he left the bowls in the rubber container, he would eat the rubber container. If the bowls are too high, he will not eat or drink out of them. So, I am looking for heavy (ceramic) bowls that are no more than 2 inches off the ground, preferably lower. I have looked online and can't seem to find one store that has a wide variety of options. I am found many that have a few things but I would have to buy supplies from 4 or 5 different places which I would rather not do but will if I can find the right type of supplies. Also, I would like to find a good hay box that is free-standing that I can put next to his litterboxes. I have been putting hay in his litterboxes but mostly he pees all over the hay and I have to keep adding hay several times a day to make sure he has fresh hay to eat but I am wasting a lot of hay so I think having a large free-standing hay box that he can reach next to the litterbox would work better.

Anyway, anything you can point me to would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like he's super playful. They love to flip bowls etc.
We have a flemish. We don't use any type of hay feeder. We use to have a metal one that clipped on his cage and he'd pull it off. Now we just feed him hay directly in his litter box instead of over it.
We use a glass Pyrex bowl for water. And a small ceramic dish for pellets
We order treats and stuff from thewellkepttabbit
We have an XL hop n flop from them as well. And its his pride and joy. Lol
He also has a coolaro that he loves.

I'll post some links below.

Does your flemish not eat those plastic cups? my rabbit will eat anything made of rubber/ plastic. That has been a very limiting factor in what I can get him.

I was thinking is it that he physically can not reach it
or is it that he refuses to drink/eat out of it
if he gets thirsty enough he’ll drink πŸ™‚
You could also try a clamp water bowl

I think that is a winner. low to the ground, wide and heavier than the stainless steel. I am sure he will still knock it around but I think that is a good next option. I just placed my order for 2. Thank you so very much.

He chews everything. But he has not chewed the cups. He just tosses them around.
