Super Bowl Sunday!!

It's a beautiful day here in NJ.
A little cool of a start, but bright and sunny and supposed to warm up.

What's everybody doing today?

I've got a full day ahead.
Super Bowl is more like "Thanksgiving AndA Show" by us.
Lots of food and drink!!!

With the Giants playing, it's a bonus for folks in my area!!

I've got errands to run and chores to do.
We decided to make Chicken Parm instead of the sausage & peppers. Gives me more time to do stuff....and a lot less time on my feet will help my back, too.

Gonna try to get an early start so we can enjoy the evening!

Also we've had family round for a long lunch today and my cousins are saying how they are staying up tonight to watch the super bowlon sky sports- despite the fact that they aren't American so don't usually watch American football!

Hello!!

I got back from errands a while ago.:time:



Went to bank.....got CA$H.



Went to the "beer store"....got:
~ bottled water (for the buns...they get too cwazy when they drink beer),
~ jar of salsa...mild,
~ hunk of cheese...cheddar/sharp,
~.....and BEER, of course...tah-dah!!
...for NACHOS & BEER !!:toast::eats:



Went to Farmers Market....got:
~ tri-colored pasta,
~ broc & colli flowerettes,
~ grape tomatoes,
for COLD PASTA SALAD!!:cooking:

And....for Chippy I got:
~ dandilion greens,
~ fresh mint,
~......and a couple of nice navel oranges
for CHIPPY COMFORT FOOD!!:bunnyheart

I am spending the day studying. It turns out I failed my math course (I knew I would, I found that course really hard to follow because it kind of had a link to Spice's death...). But I applied for a re-examination and was accepted. They booked it in for 9:00 on the 11th, which would be great, but Mocha and Reese go to the vet at 8:00 that day and now I can't take them! Oh well, I was told just to send a detailed note of anything I wanted looked at and they would fill me in after my test and both bunnies can stay at the clinic for the day. So Imade them both lovely 'cage tags' to go on their carriers since it was the perfect chance to finally get to try out my Photoshop program!

I really need to stop looking at adoptable bunnies because the Calgary Humane Society has this lovely 9 month old boy for adoption. I don't know how to explain it but he's got thatMocha and Spice lookto him! He looks identical (except black) to Mocha and Spiceat that age... I want him so bad. Luckily for me... I am 7-8 hours away from him so no chance of me getting him.

I need to run to the store and get some stuff for Tiny....I'm dreading it. What time does the game start? What time is halftime (approx??)? I want to make sure I go when maybe the store will be less full....

I don't know much about football...so I don't follow when the game is, etc. I just wanna get in and out...

I have slept 90% of the daY. I am still sick with the flu.

I went to the grocery last night, full of flu medicine and a fever HA! I don't know what all I got but I forgot something for food tonight!

I'm hungry but can't figure out what to eat! :?

I sure wish My Colts were in the super bowl, but Peyton's brother is there so I'll cheer for him!

You know,i had never heard of Super bowl before,it sounds kinda like a big thing over there.

It's monday morning here 8:03 to be exact,i shouldn't even be here writing this message,i should be in the shower and then of on my way.

Oh yes, Superbowl is huge here. Also in Indiana at least, the INDY 500

Daytona 500 in Florida and a few other sporting events are very popular and reasons to party! LOL!

The big game is about to start.

We have our Canadian feed (CTV) and it is 5 seconds head of the American channel (FOX) :biggrin2:
Only thing is we don't see all the new commercials that pay big bucks for the time slots.
