Sudden balding

I don't often pick my little Netherland dwarf up because she hates it, but after seeing large clumps of fur in her home this morning I picked her up to find this....View attachment ImageUploadedByRabbit Forum1416925351.539366.jpg
Almost all of her belly hair is gone. The skin seems healthy and she is eating and hopping around as usual... Does anyone know what might cause this?

If the skin is clear, with no scabbing or dandruff, then it sounds like she may have pulled it out. Sometimes they do it out of stress or boredom, or possibly a diet issue. It looks like some of the hair is growing back. How old is she, and is she neutered?

Is there any hair loss anywhere else under than her belly? It does appear that it is possibly coming back in places. Sometimes in a big molt a rabbit will have temporary bald spots .
give us more info. Her skin looks smooth and clean
