Hi, so um earlier and as per usual.. Claudia was resting on my chest, her favorite spot and I was petting her as she was licking my neck and she made a strange noise twice. I don't know what it is.
Any idea what it could be? I looked up the vocals bunnies could make and I'm not sure whether it's a 'honk' a 'sneeze' or even a 'cough'.
And no I'm not wearing any perfume, she was as usual just playing and running around then came to rest on my chest for pets and she was tugging at my necklace and she made that noise twice in row.
I'm worried, any information you could help me with ?

Was she maybe tooth chattering or lightly grinding? If so, that is something rabbits do when they are feeling contented, such as when they are getting head rubs/petting. It's a happy sound essentially, when they are in a happy relaxed state.

Unless she made it while she was tugging on your necklace(as opposed to when you were petting her). Then it could be a grunting sound, which could have been if she was tugging on your necklace to get your attention.

So she was either happy or trying to get your attention. Nothing that you need to worry about.

Well, both. She does that light tooth purring quite a lot and she's a such an attention seeker. If I'm lying on my back she comes and lies on my chest and starts licking me, nipping me, pulling on my necklace or clothes until I pet her. And if I'm lying on my front she comes on my back and keeps on tugging on my hair and licking my back and such, it's adorable.

But I think it was a sneeze because when she returned to her cage she made a different sound, a much quieter one and it sounded like she sneezed three times in row. There is no significant discharge or coloration under her nose, I used stethoscope to check her breathing and it sounded normal to me. I thought my room was maybe a little too cold or maybe it was the grass I gave her so I turned off my AC and watched her and she just started playing around and didn't hear her noises since. I'm hoping it's nothing serious.
