my boyfriends bunny sanchezhas start making a funny noise when we pick him/her(wedont know yet!)up sounds kinda like a guinnie pig only deeper. its not out of feerbecause he/she loves to climb all over us when he/she!!!!! is out and about the house wich is most of the day. it only seems to be when we open the hutch in the morning. any ideas?

My rabbit makes this sound whenever she is happy. It sounds like a sort of soft oinking, and she makes it whenever she is running outside of her cage.

My Rosie oinks all the time when I try to touch her or do something that annoys her. She's very vocal. If I don't stop doing whatever it is that's annoying her she'll hit me.

Some rabbits don't like to be picked up. The noises are probably him saying "Hey! Wait! I don't like that!" He might bea bit cage aggressive, so when you go and pick him up from his cage he might be thinking you are invading his territory.

Both of my girls, Sparky in particular, makes that squeeky sound when I pick her up. Nothing to worry about. You're not hurting bunny. They are just letting you know they are not totally happy about what you are doing. Just give them lots of loving
and pets to get them used to it before releasing them. I wouldn't hold them too long or they might stress.

Sometimes its just their way of telling you off!My little girl Lacey is very vocal when you pick her up too and she sounds just like a guinea pig - she just doesn't like being picked up.She also stamps her feet at me and runs away if she can. Once the trauma of beingpicked up is over she is all friendly again and accepts her cuddles.
