Omigosh, I have tears in my eyes from watching that first video of her...she looks so frail and sad. :(And look at how she turned out!! How did the splay get corrected? And yes, I'd love to hear her story...you've done wonders for this adorable kitty!

She's so beautiful! :inlove:

This is the write up I did of her when I posted her on youtube last year:

(you can do a search for 'Who threw this beautiful kitten out?' to see the video there)

...

This little girl was picked up by the police department and
brought to animal control. She was seen being tossed out
of a window of a moving car.

She came into AC the day before yesterday.
Her face was a bloody mess, her rear leg completely
limp and without movement.

I went and picked her up last night.
She had very limited movement in the back leg though it doesnt appear to be broken.
Her tail yesterday evening showed some sign of movement.

She eats.

She drinks.

She cries.

Above all, she PURRS.

You know, all animals deserve homes.
This one is such a beauty IMO -
I have no clue why someone would TOSS HER OUT instead of at least trying to give her away at the store.

Yes, I know all of the horrors of that too.

...

My heart is just sick over the continuous loss of lives due to idiots.
We have several animals in foster care and being boarded at this point.

This girl isn't suffering, but she is far from being in fit condition.
I have her here at the house and I'll do what I can with her,
in her best interest.

I cannot utter the words that I have in my head for the *things* that did that to an innocent kitten.

That kitten was lucky in many ways the day I brought her home.

I wasn't present when the PD brought her in but when I got to the pound and started working with the animals I noticed hercage notesright away.

I honestly didn't like her condition at all and since the pound has no funds for situations like her the thought was to put her down so she didn't have to suffer through a 5 day stray hold.

As luck would have it we weren't equipped for euthanasia that day so that option was out.

Before I left I padded her cage, patted her some and hoped for the best. A few hours later I went back to the pound to get her. I *hated* thinking of her being there as she was, so I figured I'd bring her home, have her vetted myself to see how bad off she really was.. and then I'd make a decision. BUT I WASN'T KEEPING HER!

*snort*

That was June, 2007. It's now January 2008 and she's a set fixture with me.

She really is a funny looking cat (IMO) but she's grown on me. She is a little clown and has become a wonderful companion for my blind cat so she has definantly earned her place here for life.
