Spaying Poppy

Arbutus does do spays/neuters on week ends. Zeke was done on a Saturday.

I think a mid-week day would be better too in case of an emergancy after wards. But Friday should be okay.

A mid week spay would be good actually. My mom has the day of Wednesday, but not sure if that's too early to book an appointment? Wednesday probably won't work, but I'll ask mom.

The Eagle Ridge clinic is open until 5PM Saturday and 2PM Sunday, but if I do go on Saturday, I'll try to find an emergency vet that's savvy with rabbits just in case.

For the liver and kidney test, do I just askabout the liver and kidney test when I make the appointment or when I'm going for the pre-spay check up? Do they generally do the pre-spay check up right before the spay the same day?

Ok, the earliest appointment is May the fourth,so I booked in for May the fourth. I asked about the pre-spay blood work but she said they don't do pre-anesthetic bloodwork before spays for rabbits. Both are getting done by Dr. Stockley though?:?:shock:. I'm a bit worried because I've only heard about Dr.Upjohn,but is Dr. Stockley just as good?Does henormally performs the spays? I forgot to ask about a pre-spay exam, but I would imagine that they would do that mandatory right before the spay, right?
