phoned the vet as lucy has only had a sip ofwater to bring herback in tomorrow

if no change

he advised given lucy her normal food mashed down and taken it off a spoon or sryinge but she wont have it

is that right that if rabbits dont eat for a surten amount of time they can get a bacterial infection

Don't get too worried, my Bunny did the samething. The next evening I took her to the vet and they gaveher an IV of fluid. On the way home she started perking up(Ilive 5 minutes from the vet). She started eating again whenwe got home and was fine. Just one of those things.

Yes, sometimes it takes a little while before they feel like eating, after a major operation..
