So long my big "Old Man"

Not a rabbit, our 10 year old Great Dane is making his last trip to the Vet's today. He' been losing weight and mobility for a while now, and I know it's time, but it still breaks my heart even though it is the right thing to do. Brought him home almost 11 years ago, 18 pounds at six weeks old and he was just a delight, so sweet and playful. I have to do this now as I know I won't be able to later. Goodbye for now my Phillip J Fry, we all love you and will miss you in our lives.

Saying goodbye is never easy but it sounds like he had a wonderful life with you. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

On a little happier note, we are getting 2 new Dane puppies from Virginia--they should be here by Friday and continuing with our "Futurama" names, they will be Nibbler and Hermes.
