I am a mess. Mythumb hurts from Tony biting me, Bo nips me when I try to do his feet and I have a couple of bruises on my shoulder and he has a knack for knowing where to bite me on my chest! :shock: Diesel jumped off of me and managed to get a claw stuck..... in my chest.............. with the same perfect aim as Bo's nipping.... I need a diamond plate bra!
Tonight I was looking at Bo's feet and I tranced him so I could get a better view... I had him turned over a couple of times and I was scratching his tummy to get some hair off of it. After a long time he was laying and letting me pick out some loose hair around his neck and somewhere along the line he started like.... flopping but closed his eyes and tucked his head and it was scaring me - he didn't act right. SO, I had my son get me a cold damp washcloth and I used it on Bo's face. He perked up some but I haven't figured out if he was feeling good or bad when he was doing that stuff. I just know I got really scared... it wasn't normal - and I've been really..... on edge? lately.Anyhow, he's in his cage now and I gave him fresh water and feed and he seems like he's fine. He was taking a bath when I left him. I think I'm paranoid. I used to be a strong person and now I am a blubbering idiot if my bunny looks like he's going to poop crossways......
Luke went and got Tony so I could put his ointment in his eye and his eye looked more cloudy again and then in the center the pupil was really dark under the cloudiness.
I guess I'm going to have to take him to the specialist which we cannot afford right now. This year has been pretty rough..... we were doing ok but now a bunch of stuff is hitting us and my hubby's hours are down for the season.
Sorry for this, but sometimes it just helps me to "voice" how I am feeling and what is going on....

I've been a mess myself since Fri when pus started out to ooze out of my Beau's eye. I had to take him to a vet today and he has a corneal ulcer.
i thought his problems were related to the tooth extractions
I am supposed to take him off everything except gentocin opthalmic ointment.,..
well i'm going to do it
but if his eye puffs out in the middle of the night the vet better be awake when i call her....

It's awful isn't it? Poor little Beau! I know what you mean about the vet. I just wish we could fix them. I'd be in a padded room if I were you with all that Beau has been through! :hug:
I think this is just one of those years where things are going to be rough and we'll get through it but....... it's not fun while we're in it.

:hug: Hugs to you Bo.... must feel like you're getting beaten up by the world with everyone taking little nips out of you! (Your finger sounds painful! Anything that goes through the nail hurts like crazy! I sewed through my finger and nail with my industrial sewing machine. Put 11 "stitches" in my finger without even trying! It takes a little while for it to feel better. My sympathy! Did you get a blood blister under the nail?)
and :hug:Hugs to you Angie... It's rough dealing with the eye issues. The Gentomyacin worked really fast when we had severe eye infections in a whole litter here. Hope Beau's eye clears up fast... corneal ulcers can be so difficult to clear up!
