OMG I want Zeus Jr.! LOL! I love me some of that big old Zeusy! and I wish I could have one of my own!

If I ever get another bunny - I think I'm gonna have to take a trip to see you, Cathy! I'm done with the kids trying to show. I can't take the bunnies going to fair and being away from home LOL!

Actually, I was going to ask Peg if she'd mind if I named the boy in my left hand (with the ears down) Zeus Jr. When he was about 4 weeks old, he had one ear that was down and one that was up. (I think he got sat on by his siblings!). But it's getting better...When he's resting or asleep, the ear still goes down and off to the side. But heholds it up when he hears a noise or is playing...
I would be honored if you named him Zeus Jr. Are you keeping him or selling him? (How soon can he make his way to Texas??)....

May I post his picture in my blog?

He is just...adorable - he is the one I wanted when I saw the picture....there is just something about him.

He's my "pick" in the litter. He's not going anywhere! LOL! Then Zeus Jr. it is! I'll try to get better photo's of him for you later Peg...

Hmmm... all this cuteness going on, I wonder if Pennie is still depressed?

Look at cutie Elf! She's so adorable with her little girly dewlap!

Peg, I didn't know if lionheads were affectionate or not really. I know a lot of people have them but are they all snuggly or some?

Zeus Jr. is just so cute! I agree he has a certain something...... probably that pitiful look and that flopped ear LOL!

No Cathy, I'm not so depressed.

Oh no, wait!

I feel the depression coming back! I think baby mini-rex pictures might hold it off!

:innocent

How well does Art know me?

Peg: "Cathy, a breeder friend of mine has a white flemish giant baby whose ear has lopped..."

Art: "Cute"

Peg: "She's going to name him Zeus, Jr."

Art: "He's not coming here.....RIGHT?"

Peg - heavy sigh...

I think lionheads are like most any breed - you're going to have some that are snugglers and others that aren't.

A lot of it will depend upon their genetics and socialization too.

I'd say a lot of mine WILL snuggle - some of them will even ask for it. Miss Bea will often get up on the bed and nudge me - and this was the same gal who would attack us when she first got here. Minnie Pearl - my "doe from Hades"....will now snuggle if she's picked up and cuddled. Otherwise - she wants to run and play.

My favorite breeds are flemish giants, lionheads and lops - with almost a bit more of lops than lionheads....Billy Sunny is just SOOO affectionate - as was Puck. So was Hub - my mini lop that I had. Then again - Beatrice - the french lop we had - was hateful - absolutely hateful. She hated us with a passion (and Tiny)...but when she got rehomed - she LOVED that family and wanted to go with them. It was shocking...cause we were really good to her and I wanted to bond with her...but she hated Tiny and she hated me....

Here's a little bright note that might cheer you, Tina just kindled5 blue babies! She was due yesterday but took her sweet time about giving them up. One didn't make it, but the other 4 look fabulous! So will baby Flemish pics help your depression, Bo?

It will give me the "I wants" - but would you consider starting a thread somewhere and taking pictures weekly or something and updating us on them as they grow?

I didn't get Tiny till he was 3 months old if I remember right....maybe older...and I missed out on so much....

I was always going to consider getting a blue flemish after Tiny passed (I never expected it to be so soon though)....

Call me crazy - but if I could - I'd have a community in my back yard (where the dogs couldn't get to them) of neutered flemish...just so I could visit them all the time and have my stress level go down. The only thing is....my desktop computer isn't designed for the outdoors -so I'd have to decide..."flemish or RO"?

FLEMISH!!!!!... and a Laptop with a wireless connection! Problem solved!
Haha! That's what I do! Put the bunnies outside, watch them run and binky, and sit in the pen with my laptop on the table, and camera. Take the pictures, upload them outside, and post and have bunny time as well! While I post, they climb on my shoulders :D

In the summer I had the window open with my charger trailing on an extension out the window to upload all the pictures in real time as the buns would be out most of the day...

Cathy, I wanna see the blue babies!! :biggrin2:

Is Billy a fuzzy lop? I never paid attention to his ears! I just saw head fuzz! LOL!

We babysat a holland lop buck once and he was different..... now that I have Tony I understand him more. He was cage aggressive and in a new place... so it was a bit strange but he was still a sweetie!

Cathy, I think a few days of photos of babies would help a great deal!

Although he doesn't look it - Billy is 1/2 lionhead and 1/2 holland lop. In my blog, I posted a video and in it I tell about his conception..because it was NOT a planned breeding.

I have had a fuzzy lop before...wow - talk about a lot of work!

He's definitely cute :)

yeah I think fuzzy lops are a lot of work from what I know.

Tonight is a bit good and a bit bad -

Tony's eye looks a lot better - still bad but better.

and I just found out

a friend of mine from high school died last month. :(
