My big boy Thumper is so lazy. I have him separated from the others because he feels the need to hump everyone. I’m about to change his name to Humper. But seriously I leave his kennel open for a minimum of four hours a day but he refuses to leave it. I don’t know what to do. I know he is pissed that I have taken away so much of his freedom but come on. Why refuse to come out at all? Should I be worried?

Hello, This does seem to be a strange situation. Is he eating and drinking normally and is his poop solid? Right now I would just be concerned with him trying to catch a possible illness or something like that.

I highly recommend getting him neutered. Is he still eating and drinking?

Eating and drinking. Solid jellybeans aka poo. The kennel he is in is a large dog kennel I have installed shelves in so he can jump around. And he is jumping around in it just fine. He just hasn’t choose to come out of it in a few days. Other than him not wanting to come out he is acting normal.

This can be because he can see other intact rabbits all the time, he is young and sexually active so this is not good for him, he can get depressed and stop eating or develope some other serious illness. As above, you'd need to neuter him as soon as possible, and keep him somewhere he cannot see/smell intact females from now until 6-8 weeks after his surgery.
