I was only priviledged to have this bunny as my foster child for a few weeks, he was a very special lille guy, unfortunately kidney problems cut his young life too short. While he was here he was such a pleasure to have around-every morning was spent running around the computer room sharing time with my husband. Skippy was never still-he would run, hide, binky, and start the process all over again, coming by occasionally for a quick nose rub before he was off again.

He had to be given sub q fluids ands he would wait patiently for the provedure to end, then it was time for a treat and an exploration of the counter top. He loved the dogs and the cats and he would come running to say hello whenever anyone wasnear him.

I held him until the final moments and then he passed peacefully with both my daughter and me by his side. He will have a permanent place in our and he will be missed.

Anneyou are a wonderful Foster Mom and treated Skippy as he were your own. We will never forget how you opened your heart as well as your already"full to the brim with critters" home. We all are so grateful as you gave 100% + to this little guy. He sure was special and so are you.....

Skippy was a Gainesville Rabbit Rescue foster. For those of you who may remember, Skippy was the dad of Princess's "royal family" of 7 kits. The entire family had to be rescued from the local shelter.

Thank you Anne and Susan (Susan was Skippy's foster mom before he became so ill a few weeks ago) for caring so much for our handsome boy and teaching him what love was all about. You are truly angels.

I had one of Skippy's sons, Chub Chub, at our Petco event today. What a sweet, sweet little bun he is; just like his daddy. Susan, Skippy's first foster mom, was at the event today too. She really enjoyed meeting Chub Chub and cuddling him for a while.
