I just got a Sirius radio!! I had gotten some gift cards for X-mas and used them to buy the radio. I'm in the car about 2 1/2 hours a day and have gotten sick of listening to commercials and mindless banter from the radio personalities. I'm having it installed tomorrow. I can't wait!!

I have a friend who has it in her car. I got to listen to it when my van broke down and we shared a ride to work.

It was neat, but I'm a diehard political talk radio listener and she wasn't. I never even got to hear one news break, update or weather report during the drives. Drove me nuts!!

Needless to say, I could take it or leave it since I'm not big into music.

Still, I know of many people who swear by it and love it to pieces. :) What an awesome gift!

I just had it installed this afternoon and love it already!! Now I have to read the manual and figure out how to program my presets in. I have 30 presets, that ought to be more than enough.

I just got it for my husband for his birthday. He's got to install it. I don't know when he'll install it cause his company is supposed to be getting him a new truck.

Cool! The nice thing about the Sirius is that he can move the radio to a different vehicle if he has to. I got a lifetime subscription, and even if I buy a new radio (or get a Sirius ready radio when I buy a new car) my subscription can be transferred. I specifically asked about transferring the subscription before I shelled out the money.

Oh good! His mom got him the speaker system for the house, and I am going to get him the booster antenna soon. He'll enjoy all the sports on it. Plus, he's in a big truck all day long sometimes. He's a heavy equiptment mechanic and has to go to the jobs to fix the stuff. Sometimes he'll go from Northern Indiana to Indianapolis and back to the jobsite with parts and stuff. I know it'll be something he likes!

My daughter can't wait to hear the NASCAR show that Tony Stewart (#20) does. That's the reason we have Tony the bunny! the kids love him!
