Silver Marten vs Black Otter

Is my nethie a silver martin or a black otter?

Can you get a picture of the back of the neck? That is usually the best place to check

In the second picture the neck fur is a russet color. So a black otter.

I don't know the details but that is one handsome rabbit. I like the shading of the fur.

Guess I forgot to explain lol;
Silver martens markings are all silver where as a black otter has white ticked with a russet colored markings.

Black otter. This is based off the orange coloring on the nape of the neck.

If it was a black silver martin instead, there would be no tan shading, just a mix of black, white, and silver shades
