Sick help!

I have a netherland dwarf doe that's started sneezing with a runny nose. Well she's now losing her fur around her butt and looks to have a sore on her tail. What can I do for her? Some of the babies she had are sneezing as well with a runny nose.

I plan to bring her in to the vet to have a culture done but I'm not sure what else to do for her or what I'm even dealing with. I have her in quarantine away from my herd for now. I'm hoping it is something that can be cured.

If she has white nasal discharge then she has a respiratory infection. If the babies also have white discharge then they need treatment as well.

The sore on the tail looks to be from rubbing on something. So there is either something in her environment that it's rubbing against frequently, she's rubbing it intentionally due to skin irritation, or she self mutilated possibly due to skin irritation or stress.

I don't believe the hairloss is from rubbing. It's falling out in clumps but her skin definitely looks dry and irritated I'm not sure what caused the sore, she has a second sore that you can't really see In the pic in that same area. I've had her since she was born and have never had any issues with self mutilation or hairloss like this before. Nothing in her environment has changed recently but it has been hotter outside than usual lately.

The vet can give you further advice on what to do and how to work out what you are dealing with. Even a vet wouldn’t diagnose anything based on those photos, and nobody here should be giving out advice about something potentially life threatening.

With the wet fur from urine shown in the picture, and the fur loss in that same area, she could very well have a UTI or similar causing urinary incontinence, subsequent fur loss from urine scalding, and possibly also causing the sore on the tail because the fur is gone. Regardless, it needs veterinary treatment by an experienced rabbit vet, as well as the possible respiratory infection.

As other members mention, diagnosing via picture is difficult. Although the picture doesn't match up with what it typically looks like, I'd also consider syphilis because the fur loss and irritation is around the genital area. Syphilis can be dormant (no symptoms) for virtually forever, but can spontaneously begin showing itself later in the rabbit's life.
