I just wanted to take a moment to thank anyoneand everyone here involved with a rescue or shelter or who has everrescued a bunny. A friend of mine recently found herself tobe in a situation where people have been dumping their bunnies at herhouse. I think it is one person, because the frequency of theentire thing doesn't make sense otherwise. Anyway, sherescued the first and I have the second (both are wonderful babies,Elvis is so sweet, I can't imagine why anyone would just dump him), butshe has had a couple left since then. They have gone to herlocal humane society and toa rescue in my area. Iam so grateful they could help and take these babies, because she can'ttake any more and my plate is pretty full right now (although a breederfriend is waving her new litter of french lops under my nose and I havean empty cage and have cut down my work hours to only 40 a week, somaybe...LOL).

Ok, back on topic -- THANK YOU to all of those who make rescue groupsand shelters possible and to those who get their bunnies from thosesources because without you they would be over populated and wouldn'tbe able to continue to help.

Thank you too for all you're doing for bunnies :D.

It shows that no matter how bad it seems good can always make a difference :D

I second that cirrustwi. All bunniesdeserve a second chance. Ifthe firstownerwas too irresponsible to care for a bunnyit should be giventhe chance to find a second 'forever home' and without rescues it wouldbe more difficult for that to happen.
