Hello! We are new and just picked up out Dutch Bunny. Her feet are kind of gross. Can I use my Burts bees waterless shampoo for cats?
What suggestions do you have?
Thank you!

Thank you!
I did use a warm cloth and they look okay now. The place we got her from was...not very clean ☹If it's just dirt it will eventually wear off, or I would use a wet warm (not too warm) clothing and try to remove the dirt with that is she lets it.
No chemicals. Also Rabbits are really clean creatures: no shampoo/washing are required. (Yes, some idiots still managed to produce "Rabbit shampoo" products.....useless) A healthy Rabbit would smell really good if you were to stick your nose into the fur.
But I think the main concern here is: why is it dirty? Maybe she has some kind of feet problem/disease, or peeing problems? (In this case the "washing off" would probably cause more "bad" than "good")
Which feet are dirty? Could you take a photo?
I think it was the condition she was in. They had a bunch of rabbits but the cages were not very clean. That's great to hear! Be on the lookout for her feet for especially in the upcoming weeks. Almost no dirt or any coloring should be present.
If you notice this dirt or whatever reappering it is an indication that something is wrong, that might require a vet.
She is doing well now.
Her feet are slightly yellowed but the yuck came off with the warm washcloth.
Having just read through the posts I might just need a cloth and warm water. (And a few treats maybe)I bought a rabbit shampoo which I am planning on using for their feet with cotton wool.
