Hello all, I am not advertising in the slightest but was reading through the forums on many of our fellow rabbiters having to deal with mites/fleas/other pests that can bother rabbits. I take my buns and pets to the vet for wellness checkups, illness, etc., but one thing I've found that is super helpful is Canadapetcare.com. You can order all of your pet medications without a prescription. I've always found it ridiculous you can't buy preventative things for heartworm (dogs/cats/other) and requires a vet prescription. I use the site for all my pets *only* for standard types of medications that you would normally buy and have to see a vet for - anything that requires a diagnosis/assessment, I go to the vet.
I also use it for medication refills - an example would be Apoquel for my dog's allergy (vet did a skin scrape/testing and diagnosed environmental allergies).
Just sharing in case anyone else has struggled with trying to find affordable/available "business as usual" type medications for your buns and pets.
