I've already been up and out running errands.

Picked up pet supplies and saw the 2 Marshalls bunnies were STILL there....been several months now. A little grey mini- rex and a small harlequin mark bun w/ uppity ears. At $150 each they'll never get sold....especially sitting right next to the $49.99 ones.

Chippy is not feeling well. She's got some runny poops, and is having "accidents" all over her pen. She looks a little "rough", so I'm going to keep a close eye on her. She's eating, drinking, peeing......but the runny poops are a major concern. My poor baby :(

Gonna fix some lunch and then get started on cleaning the buns room.

Right now, I'm watching the original "Mark of Zorro" with Tyrone Power.

Why on Earth are they asking $150 for them?

I have been out myself. I had to take Lexi and sign her up for Volleyball - they have a spring league. It's her favorite sport other than horse competitions.

We stopped by the bank and were going to the mall but I forgot the receipt I need to return an item from.... Christmas! LOL! So we're home, waiting for Luke to get a shower and whatnot so he can go with us to the Mall.

I'm still not feeling well - I should just go back to bed.

Because they're spayed/neutered and the others aren't.

For $30 you can rescue a bun from the shelter and they're spayed/neutered
.....go figure.

I've already spoken to the manager at the store and now he understands why they shouldn't order from Marshall's anymore.
I asked him to give me the buns at a reasonable price and he said he couldn't
......but he said that last time too (Ali's Wyatt), and I talked him down to $25 from an original$60.

They're obviously bonded and looked good...until today. The little grey mini-rex is starting to look a little "rough"

I just checked on Chippy and she's not looking too good.

This always happens on the weekend when the vets are going to be closed!

I think I've got the things I need if it gets worse, and there's an emergency vet available ($$$$cha-ching).

Could be a long night....not the first & probably not the last.

Aww, sorry Chippy isn't well - like you say, it's always at the weekends :?. Hopefully it won't last long.

Have had two days of very strong winds here. Got no sleep last night, not only 'cos of the wind gusting around the house, but also because it upset the bunnies, and they couldn't settle. (Times like that I wish they weren't sharing our bedroom). At least our trees and fences are still standing (so far).

All I have to say isI hope the weather report is wrong for here, they are calling for windchill factors of -42*C/-44*F and since we're in a valley, it really blows hard!

The wind is supposed to pick up a bit by us and they're calling for snow shower through the night. Oh joy.

I laid down after lunch because I was feeling a little achy/slight headache/tired. I slept until dinner time and didn't get anything done on the chores. I hope I'm not getting sick again.
I changed the litter pans, so I just have to feed them and then I think I'm off to bed early.

A good night to hunker down under the covers with the doggie.:p
Last night she hogged all the blankets, though!:grumpy:

Aww poor Chippy....i'll be keeping her in my thoughts

Today is pretty nice here,it's just after 12pm here...it's not hot today like it's been the last few days...it's actually what i would say a perfect day...it's beautiful and warm...perfect gardening weather on a lazy sunday;)

Oh no! Jim, that's how I'm feeling today. I think it comes here and then heads east!

I hope Chippy is better. I meant to say so earlier..... my day was kinda bad and I'm just not thinking right. She's had problems before hasn't she?

Bo had a bit of poo on his butt. He gets that when he eats too many oatsies.... so no more for awhile.

My crappy day - Long story short - my sister is a pain in my butt.

Very warm today for January. I was out all day and night taking pictures.

We had a Pet Expo, (an animal show, mostly dogs). There was a rabbit display which I spent 75% of the time there. :p There were Camel rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, horses display, dog agility, dog shows, reptiles, birds, ferrets, monkeysand 1 cat.
The cat was only there because it was show cased for adoption, otherwise no othercats were at the show.:biggrin2:

Then I was taking pictures at supper. Our newly elected executive committee were invited to the Coast Plaza Hotel for a buffet.
On my way home, I stopped to take pictures of ice sculptures in the night.

By tomorrow, the weather is going to change drastically. There is snow in the forecast, and temps are going to drop as we areheaded fora deep freeze (-33 C).

I had a nice Saturday, and once the wind actually died down it was pretty mild and sunny here. So much so that I decided to take my camera with me on a hack on Smokey.:p

My handsome boy!:hearts

I then managed to fit in a couple of hours of psychology work before going to the Nutcracker ballet on the evening. It's so Christmassy it had me wishing it was December again!:D

The weather herelooks to be nice again today - fingers crossed! I'm getting sick of this rubbish winter weather.:grumpy:

HORSIE !!!:inlove:

I slept in today (Sunday)...until about 9am.

Got up, washed food bowls & fed the buns.
I even mustered up enough energy to vacuum.

Chippy is doing better, Thanks!!.
This is likely going to be a forever chronic issue with her. I can't help getting concerned when she has a flare-up, though.
Kind of like Benji's runny eyes, which are acting up again....so I'm making some chamomile tea for compresses.
I can use the leftover tea for spritzing their hay.

I haven't given them hay for a while...they've been getting lots of cubes. They're a lot less messier....and the buns LOVE them.
That, and I wasn't/haven't been pleased with the hay I've been getting from Oxbow. Seems like I throw half of it out because the buns won't eat it. The last box had a lot of stems and brown stuff in it, so I was going to toss it in the compost pile. I pulled off the first flake and the stuff underneath didn't look too bad....and the one under that looked pretty good too. So I'm going to see if the buns will have it or not.
It's not moldy or anything and still smells good....although a bit dusty (hence the spritzing!!). There's probably 20 lbs left from a 50 lb box.

Tea's up & I just finished lunch (last night's dinner that I didn't feel up to eating), and I think I'll relax and watch some TV while the tea cools for Benji's eyes.

The original "Juorney to the Center of the Earth" is on.....WOOHOO!!
I'm off to make some popcorn:popcorn2 and get a coldbrew:toast:

TTFN!!!

Snow and blowing snow all day.

Had to deliver to a place west of the city, the highways was near white out conditions. Good thing I left early, as there was no traffic.
Cleaned the driveway once already, but the snow drifts are building up again. If you throw the snow up in the air, the wind blows it into the neighbors yard. :p

It was so nice and mildat9 o'clock last night. Guess I'll stayinside and give the bunnies extra cuddles.

Spent the whole weekend doing college work.

Today we had company, total of 10 people in the house at one point, then down to 6, back up to 9 then to 12 and finally down to 5 right now. Crazyness and all while trying to do college work! (Note: Used to 4 people in my house at a time).

Drove to the new place of employment to check out where it is exactly. Start tomorrow. Rather nervous to be honest as I've never worked with Medical Records before, even better yet I've never worked in a medical office before! The medical office has two doctors, hopefully I only have to deal with one of the doctor's patients and not both!

:hanging:

Good luck DA!

Glad Chippy is doing better, Jim.

and I wish I was out riding a horse in nice weather...... probably at least 2 mos away for us.
