After loosing Mizzy on Dec 30th, Moosey hadn't been 100% herself. She had been eating and drinking and taking treats but how she acted was off. Last night she really wasn't herself. I took her out and held in my hands next to me and stroked her head and she just sad there and seemed to fall asleep.

RIP Moosey. Now she can free with her sisters at the rainbow bridge.:rainbow: <3

Oh no..i'm sorry to hear that you lost Moosey as well...that is just sad

Oh, what a sad loss. She was such an adorable little thing. It seems that often when the smaller animals that have companions lose their buddy, they just can't go on without them anymore. But now, Moosey and Mizzy are snuggling together at the bridge. They don't have to be lonely without each other. With animals that don't live so long and don't show happiness as much, I find it comforting to think that they had the happiest life they could while they were with me, and giving them the opportunity to have the best life ever is a real accomplishment. It may not be as long as we'd like, but it was the best it could be, and that's a wonderful thing.

I'm sorry for your losses. I agree with Tony; sometimes really small bonded creatures just cant really go on without their friends. I had the same thing happen with my two rat brothers. They both lived a good long life, but when Henry passed on Cheese just seemed to go down hill very quickly. Maybe its better than they get to be together and one doesnt have to be alone.

Its hard loving such small creatures because they dont stay with us very long. They seemed like adorable little lovies and i'm sure they appreciated you very much.

Awe, Boz, I am so sorry for your loss. Naturestee had told me yesterday that you lost Moosey. I was crushed to hear that you lost Mizzy's bond-mate so soon.

These are such beautiful pictures of Moosey. You must be so happy you took them when you did. Those are the best moments to remember. Both of your gerbils were so pretty.

Rest in Peace little girls. :rainbow:

Healing prayers to you Boz.
