Ammonia is pretty serious stuff and if you use it undiluted or in a non-ventillated area it can be rough. If you don't take a whiff of it right in your face and open a window you should be ok. If your dishwasher has a sanitizing heat cycle, that may be enough, but coccidia is a bit more resilient than some other pathogens because it is a parasite instead of a bacterium. I'd do the ammonia just to be safe.
