Rest in Peace Ashton Jr.

Not long ago, I took in a rabbit that was apparently going to be dumped in the forest. The timing was funny because that day was Ashton's Gotcha Day. I had dreamt of Ashton that night and cried most of the day. When I saw that bunny, I felt a need to step in. Anyway, that bunny was adopted not long after as it had a sweet sweet temperament. The shelter had named him Ashton, in memory of my boy.

I was just told that he passed away due to a lung infection. There was nothing they could do. He was just a baby.

Awww RIP Ashton Jr I didn't know you'd helped another bunny. Poor little guy... he was such a cutie. I'm glad Skyler Ashton-Barney is thriving.

What a cute little boy. I'm sorry that he passed. It is wonderful, however, that you chose to remember Ashton by rescuing and loving a bunny that desperately needed it, and getting him to the shelter so he could get a home and know how it is to be part of a family. RIP sweet Ashton Jr. :rainbow:
