My bunny logic seemed to suffer from snuffles and she was given baytril. She was on baytril for two weeks but we noticed that her poop were getting smaller and she was eating less. So we stopped baytril for two days and when she didnt recover her appetite, she was given critical care and after another two days she was given oral reglan. Well that didnt work as well. She was only pooping 1-3times a day and very little. After spending three days with oral reglan(couldnt goto the vet because they were closed for new years) and her sneezjng started to come back, i took logic to the vet following monday and her usual vet put her in a extensive recoverh program. ( injectable reglan, sub q fluid, gas relief, probiotic, trimeth sulfa, pineapple papaya juice and critical care) by the second day into it, logic was eating much more and seemed to have much more energy and her poops were getting bigger and more often. Her reglan schedule was 3x daily for 2days+1dose then 2x a day for 2daya+1 dose and now once a day. And yesterday the doc who gave her baytril and oral reglan told us to stop everythjng except for antibiotics and reglan and taper off critical care. We r just finishing her first 24hour into once a day reglan but her poop is getting small again!!!? Why could this be happening ?? Today is sunday and we will have to wait a full 24hours till i get to talk to the vet about it. But was hoping if anyone knows whether this is skmetnjng to be concerned about. I dont know if reducing reglan is causing this or some other problem is. Im going to get her back on probiotic and gas relief but im a little afraid to
Increase her reglan dosage. Please helllppppppp!!!

I can't really help you, but from what I've seen on forums, some rabbits seem to react badly to Baytril (as it seems to have ill effects on the intestinal flora). Maybe it's not a good idea to give it to your rabbit - you should ask your vet if there isn't anything else he can give Logic. I seem to remember Orbac was used for snuffles, or even penicillin injection. I hope your rabbit gets better.

Personally I would continue the critical care, gas relief, juices and probiotics until you can talk to the vet again. Better safe than sorry.
