Hi there

Just wondering whether someone could please give me some advice please?

My bunny has been breathing rapidly all day today. His room is quite warm but by no means the hottest it's been. I've put a damp cloth on him to cool him down but his breathing is still very fast. His eyes are very big like he is scared but I don't think he's had a fright and if he has then surely it wouldn't last all day??

He is eating and drinking no problem and he is even ripping up his cardboard box. It looks worse when he is relaxing as his whole body is moving then, I can't understand what is wrong with him. Surely is he has heat exhaustion he wouldn't be interested in his treats and he wouldn't run around the room?

Any advice would be great, I'm going to take him to the vets tomorrow but I'm going to be worrying all night (

Thanks
Debs

How's your bunny?

:bump

Any updates on his condition? Humidity can also make it more difficult for the rabbit to cool itself, especially over weight or older rabbits.
