They are 2 and a half years old, both males, neutered.

In the 2 and and a half years I've never seen eiter of them sleep :biggrin2:

I've seen them slightly dozey but that's all lol!

What about you? Ever seen them sleep? :)

I love the way they are hopping along then suddenly decide they are tired, then fall right over on their side and lay down. When I first saw mine do that I thought she was sick or something but she was OK.It is so cute. I once saw her sleeping with her head in her nice fuffy bed and the rest of her hanging out on the floor. Cute

Okay, I was going to add this pic earlier, but didn't cuz of the poop in the back, lol. (Please don't mind that, he's a messy boy:?) Here is my Snuff, flopped out:p.

How cute!!!

Bunnies don't necessarily sleep in the way that we think of deep sleep - because they're prey animals, they're hard wired to be to the alert, and a lot of their sleeping appears like dozing (or just staring into space) to us humans. They also have a 3d "eyelid" that protects their eyes while they're sleeping - which is why they tend to look a bit dazed when sleeping with eyes wide open.

My guess is that anyone who thinks they've never seen a sleeping rabbit has been cleverly tricked by their own bun(s). ;)

That picture of Daisy Mae just about made me spit diet Coke all over the screen! Those teeth! and that bedhead!!! LOL!

I don't see mine actually close their eyes. Once in a great while, I'll catch a glimpse of Bo asleep but he always wakes up. Sometimes I think he's on a telepathic link with me.....

Clover doesn't sleep when we can see much - she usually finds her way under a blanket anyhow.

the first and only time i have seen fred sleep, i thought he was dead. he was in a dbf and had his eyes closed. then shadow jumped on top of him and he woke up.;)

he just about gave me ea heartattack!

Yofi in full shnooooze:

I've discovered that he sleeps so soundly, he is often unaware of anything going on around him. I've walked into the rabbits' room to have Anna wake up immediately...but I walk over to Yofi and can be right next to him going *Ahem....AHEM!!* and he still doesn't stir. (However, the rattle of the craisin container can wake him from the deepest of sleeps...go figure.)

You shouldn't be drinking diet Coke first thing in the morning anyways. :p

Pebbles eyes stay open, but you know she is sleeping because she snores fairly loud.
Bebe will close her eyes, but she never flops over on her side.
Any slight movement both will wake, so it is hard to get a picture of them sleeping.

I've only ever seen Muffy sleep =P I had to poke her quite a few times to wake her up for her meds.

Such a cutie <3
