Hi all! I just got this girl a week ago today and I noticed she has some weird skin on her nose-which is missing some fur-as well as her ears. I got her from her pervious owner, whom had bred her twice before she came to my herd.
You obviously can't see her ears in this picture but can anyone tell by just her nose? I've owned rabbits for a few years and just started breeding and have never seen this.
If anyone can tell what she has and if what, what should I do?

It looks like she was just licking her nose. Like a grooming session. Could you get clearer pictures of the areas? You said she seems to have missing fur on her ears, right? Where at?

First pic is of her nose, second is her left ear, third and fourth are her right ear.
I’m wondering if she had anything in the past. I checked her for any mites, but she has none, although she does seem to have dry skin.

Mites can't really be seen visually without a microscope. Mites would be most likely, and easiest to treat with a prescription for Revolution(selamectin) from your vet. Otherwise, for fungal you would need a fungal cream from your vet, for syphilis pen g injections are needed(though syphilis seems unlikely). Best thing would be to take your rabbit to a knowledgeable rabbit vet and they can check for mites under a microscope, and provide the necessary medication.

The signs of it being anything are minor at this point, so I can't even say if it really is any sort of skin issue, but if it is then those would be my guesses. With the back of the ears, it can be normal for rabbits to be thinly furred there, especially in summer, as they use their ears to cool themselves, so need thinner fur on their ears.

Good to know thanks @JBun, I didn’t know about the loosing fur on the ears in summer so that’s nice to know!
Also, she doesn’t seem to be in pain (I know they can hide it) and the skin isn’t red or have any pus. So I’m thinking the nose might just be scarring, molting fur that hasn’t grown back, or just one of those odd things.
