Hey guys
Whenever I come home in the evening my rabbit come and play with me
Yesterday when I came home My rabbit got scared of me and started running away when I try to touch him he ran away when I tried to hold him I can see that the heart was beating very very fast

She has not ever done this before so I thought about it what went wrong yesterday evening before coming home I had touch and pet my friends Dog.

Did sge got afarid because of the smell.

Also forgot to mention that she had thumped the floor for the very first time.
she sometimes came near me and tried to sniff my legs, hands a lot.
post which she started to rub her chin on my toes, knees, hands, she was super scared....
She didnt even eat her favorites treat which I offered her

Also the speed of his running was super fast and I have never seen it with my rabbit

Hey, how old? fixed?

Mine will SPEEEEED run on carpet but that is just her playing. Most buns don't care to be picked up so I usually sit on the floor and let her come to me. Also, with her chinning you, she is claiming you. Buns have a scent gland under their chin - only which other buns can smell- kind of like a dog peeing on a tree to "mark" it. So she could of smelled a different animal scent and wanted hers to be there instead. Sometimes they just don't want to be bothered (or at least mine) and she will go hid in the fort in her room. It doesn't seem to be anything out the ordinary- nothing concerning in my opinion. Just be clam and get on your buns level and let her come to you.

she just completed 6 months/Female, I guess its Dwarf, I got her when she was 15-20 days old
You are right bunnies don't want that someone should hold. in my case I sit on the floor my rabbit comes to me and sit on my lap after which I lift and pet her and she likes playing with me in this way but the experience I had yesterday was really shocking that the Bunny was running away from me all the time I missed out on taking the video of the same if possible will try and capture

Yes, having dog smell on you can scare some rabbits. If you pet a dog again I would suggest washing the smell off and possibly even changing your clothes.
