Has anyone received information from their vet about vaccinating their rabbit against this? Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus 2 (RHDV2

Not from mine. Then again, we don't really have any cases in Kentucky for RHDV2. There was like two cases in Florida. It's not as bad in the east coast as it is in the west coast. Unsure how bad it is in Europe.

Ours said there were two in upstate NY. But they said they could also get it from food and hay which got me concerned

I believe Blue Eyes shared a link in the initial RHDV2 post regarding the top hay sellers addressing that very concern. Such as Oxbow and Small Pet Select.

Who is Blue Eyes? That’s disconcerting since I only use Oxbow products with my bunny

I live in San Antonio, Texas and was able to get the vaccine for my rabbit. But I think the cases were pretty bad here, so they imported the vaccines from somewhere in Europe.

My rabbit's vet is closed down and now I need to find another one--not easy where I live because it's very overpopulated and most vets are not accepting new patients if they even specialize in exotics (very few do). Not even sure if they are administering the vaccine yet here in southern Delaware as we have not had any cases.
