Rabbit ate part of a paint pen.....

Hi All!

My autistic brother put an Elmers Squeeze n Brush paint pen in my sisters Dutch Rabbit's cage and she chewed the tip off....

We called the vet, who is listed here, by the way, and they said they are not familiar with the brand, but they're sure she'll be fine. We're calling the pet poison hot line, but want to see if anyone here knows anything. The paint said said non toxic, but we don't know if it's harmful to rabbits or not.

hmm keep an eye out, but I doubt it'll be a problem.

Animal poison hotline said to feed her lots of timothy hay, change her water every 1-2 hours, brush her and wipe with a damp rag to get any residue off, and keep an eye on her for lethargy. They think she'll be fine, though!
