Today I found that my mouse, Peach, had passed away in her cage. Peach lived with her best friend, Princess, and was a super active and sweet mouse. Lately, however, she had been lethargic and losing weight so I kind of thought her time was comingsoon (she was about 1 1/2 old). She got along with all of my animals (4 cats, 1 dog, 5 rabbits), but another bridge animal, my bunny Sadie, really got along with her. Sadie and Peach loved to hang out through the bars of the mice cage. I actually have a (bad quality) picture of my cat, Tasha, Sadie, and the mice all hanging out.

I feel so bad for Princess...she looks absolutely devastated :(

RIP, Peach :rainbow:

Im so sorry, Kathy. Rest in peace little one.:rainbow:

Can you get Princess something small and mouse-like to snuggle up to? That might help with the lonliness..

I'm sorry you lost Peach...:rainbow:

though I likethese little guysa lot, their extremely short life span is the only reason I neverhad a mouse.

I'm so sorry you lost Peach :(.

Maybe Princess would benefit from two baby mice being added to the cage? It may help her to stay healthy because small animals will get depressed over the death of cage mates.
