Ok, i'm very new to this bunny thing and its probably normal, but I have a question.
When my baby is running around the room sometimes she will just laydown and she looks to be breathing VERY hard, like she wasn't runningor anything, and I don't think she is scared, but she looks like she ispanting I guess, like a dog would do..
Is that normal?:thanks:

is her mouth open at all? if so, thats notnormal. But a lot of bunnies will lay down after theyre running aroundto "catch their breath"

No, her mouth isn't opened at all when she isdoing it, she is just breathing hard, but its not like she is runningbefore hand, normally she does it after she eats her hay.
But she is eating and drinking normally, well I think she is drinkingnormally, I have a normal sized water bottle, it is probably on thesmaller side, but average, and she drinks around half of it each night.

Its hard to say without actually seeingit. Some bunnies breathe faster than others, especially ifthey are nervous or have just been running around. Most bunnies willflop down on their sides, maybe youre just noticing her belly movingmore when she does this?

As long as shes behaving normal (no wheezing, open mouth breathing, etc) I wouldnt worry too much.
