I've been looking over earlier posts andbasically I was wondering if anyone has a good measurement for pumpkin, oats and vanilla? I guess what I want to know is how much andhow often? I thought I read somewhere that you should givemore pumpkin during shedding season, but I can't seem to find itagain. I know there probably aren't any exacts, but I wouldreally appreciate suggestions.

Also, I just rescued that baby, I know he shouldn't get greens yet, butshould he get these things? He has been grooming a lot, butdoesn't seem to be shedding like the others. He is doing justfine, and I know I'm probably being over concerned, but I'm reallyworried because he is so young and tiny.

Thanks,

Jen

During shedding season, I give my rabbits somepumpkin if they're not big hay eaters about a teaspoon a day.You don't need oats if you're using the pumpkin. Actually,Kathy Smith, author of Rabbit Health in the 21st Century told methat pumpkin's better than oats.

Vanilla is given to avoid fly strike. See the web links inCheat Sheet under GI Stasis and Fly Strike regard dosages andamounts.
