Ok so I have a bunny and when I take her out of the cage she gets scared and bites but when I take her out of the cage it has to be with a blanket and I put her on my bed she never leaves me alone she’s right there and now she’s not eating all her food and these are all new things. What do I do and should I be concerned

You shouldn’t force yourself on your bunny. Maybe try luring her to jump into a travel cage with treats and carry her that way until you have a better bond. Reaching into a cage will make the bunny often feel cornered and they will defend the cage.

Let your bunny get use with the travel cage, leave it in the cage with a little leafy greens or pellets. You want her to make the travel cage a safe place. So when you take her to your bed the travel cage can also be up and be a little hide house.

The same things can happen me when I clean one of my bunnies cages and they jump in. He will start attacking after a while and give warnings, I often tell him to jump out from the cage instead. Before I had a bond with him he would attack me every time he saw my hand near his cage. So getting the water bowl, filling hay and giving food ended with an attacking bunny. Now I can annoy him in the hutch without him attacking me but after a time he will get tired with me 🤣

Hello there,
Just thought i would make an observation in case it is of help to you.Obviously i don't know your rabbit or all the circumstances,so am not going to try to give a simplistic answer to the problem. All the advice given by Hermelin is good, and I think, from my experience that it is simply a case of persistence and patience and time.If it is of any help,I found with my buck,Robbie, that he is perfectly happy to be picked up if I gently place my arm round him, with his head pointing towards my inner elbow and support his bottom with my right hand, gently bringing to me and holding him firmly to my chest. when I tried to pick him up around the shoulders originally he absolutely freaked out and jumped out of the way.I quickly found the way he preferred! Just an observation, and you might want to try it if you haven't done already.Best of luck and just keep at it!
