I know I'm hardly on any more, but I could use some good thoughts for my old man Loki. I came home from a week-long vacation and he is not eating. I don't know when he stopped. A 13-year-old neighbor girl was pet sitting for us but judging from the fact she didn't notice the cats pooping outside the litter boxes (five times! seriously!) she probably wouldn't have noticed whether or not Loki was actually eating.
All he's eaten today is 1-2 sunflower seeds. He let his wifebun Mocha eat the rest. He's refused pumpkin and his favorite herbs and has been sitting with his tummy pressed to the floor. I can't feel anything in his stomach- it's very soft. We gave simethicone an hour ago and just did massages and tummy vibrations. I'll give him a little time before syringing fluids and food. He is shedding heavily and tends to get minor gas issues during heavy molts.
Oh, and unless a miracle happened since his last blood test over a year ago, he has almost no immune system.
