A little bit of backstory, as there is so much going on
Sunday morning, my male bunny Gremlin passed away. His mate, Izzy, has got crusty fur under one eye and has been sneezing every so often today.
Saturday my husband said she had been sneezing, but I never heard it once. Izzy has also had a cool sometimes damp nose but it seems to come and go. Her front paws are not crusty, and there isno visible discharge on her nose.
I'm worried about Izzy becausenot only is she grieving, but now she might possibly have snuffles. I'm sure Izzy's weepy eye didn't start overnight, but Gremlin surely was grooming her.
I don't know if Izzy is truly sick or just having issues coping with Gremlin being gone. She has an appointment with our vet tomorrow, so hopefully he can shed some light on this.
Also, I'm concerned because I had planned on taking Izzy on some bunny dates and trying to find her a new friend, but if she has snuffles, which I understand to be incurable, would I not be able to get another rabbit companion for her?
